JENN MAC PHOTOGRAPHY

Let me say this first before talking about this blog post-excuse my blog. In the midst of 12 sessions to edit (not an exaggeration…ha) I decide to play around with my blog. Ever do that when it’s midnight only to give up by 2 am and then wish you just had it all back the way it was??? Enter ME. With that said, I am totally putting it on the back burner til I get some inspiration to fix it!

Onto my post! This was a FUN shoot. All my shoots are fun, but we had a blast considering when mom booked me I kinda threw up a little (not really, but definitely some nausea was involved). Mom, aka Laura, is an awesome & very well known Atlanta based newborn photographer-you can check out her beautiful work here-and we had talked a few times over email over the past year or so. Small world, our hubbies were at The Citadel at the same time! Cool!! But this time she wanted to book a family session with ME (gulp). There’s something about photographing another photographer that makes you feel so honored that they wanted YOU but at the same time SO worried that they wanted YOU… Will I capture them just as SHE seems them? So many things crossed my mind! It hits you and the pressure mounts. With all of that said, all the nerves went away as soon as they stepped out of the car and we started shooting.  Don & Laura are the cutest couple with these two adorable kids. (I hope Reese and Knox get along this great when they are older) It was so much FUN! They were so relaxed and we just walked, talked and laughed through the whole shoot.
