  • I'm Jenn McPherson. As cliche as it is to say, I love my job. I DO. Sooooo much. I become friends with all of clients and fall in love with their kids, the family connection and the moments they share with me. The best part of it all is bringing out the beauty in all of my clients. We all want to feel good and I hope that I capture that in my work with every session I take. Thank you for stopping by! Enjoy the blog!

You will probably recognize Shelby from her being on my blog header (for at least a year) and because she’s one of those gorgeous kids that you can’t easily forget!:)I adore this family and am so excited that Shelby now has a cute little brother to love!! She’s such a genuine, kind hearted little girl and little bro is lucky to have such a sweet big sister!!

We are so excited to get to see them a lot this summer!! I LOVE to photograph her so much!!

She had the cutest, most adorable smile, ever.

She kept me smiling the whole shoot!! Waverly was so much fun and I am so happy that I got to capture all that cuteness with my camera. Her and her mom made the afternoon so refreshing. Brooke (mama) was gorgeous and we had so much fun just watching Waverly be herself. My kind of session!! I hope you love these Brooke, I was LOVING them while I was editing!! Thank you so much for letting me be your photographer!! xoxo

I can’t tell you how much fun I had photographing this family. Three little ones can be a challenge but not at all with this crew! They were the most polite, precious little kiddos ever! I am so loving this whole session. Any shoot that ends with all of us knee deep in water has to be a fun one right??? And it was!! I hope you can tell how awesome this family is in their images, they were such a loving, sweet bunch. Onto the pics! There were too many favs so I had to share a bunch!!

Thank you, Thank you V fam for letting me spend the afternoon with you!!

If you are even considering having a kid but don’t feel like you are ready just yet, you do not want to look at the pictures below. You will get baby (or one year old baby) fever! This baby is so cute it is ridiculous. She has the hair, the eyes, the smile that’s contagious and is stylin already. I’m a little obsessed with Miss. Brooklyn, if you can’t tell.

I’ve known her mama and daddy for4 years now and I truly love them. Dallas and John became close friends in 2008 (and I had the joy of being dragged to some lovely places with the two of them just to watch a UFC fight…) and at the end of the season I finally met Meghan. I remember sitting in the hotel in Miami and just loving her from the start. We could have talked all night. Her and John are the sweetest couple, high school sweethearts and just so down to earth. So many awesome things have happened the past few years for them (I am ignoring the imjuries John, because in our family we have to block them out or we harp on them…:)) but they really have and now, the best thing of all, Baby Brooklyn. She’s gorgeous. Their shoot was easy and fun and I think I  made Meghan and John laugh with my jumping around more than Brooklyn.:)

I hope I captured all that she is at this age and the where you are as a family of three. Treasure these times (as you know from Reese, they go so fast…she was just in our den asking John for “Mo Maulk” translation, “more milk”) and cherish the moments. Stay healthy and strong, John! Meghan, you are a ray of sunshine with your smile and demeanor, I’ll always think so much of you…  xoxo

fun, fun & more fun. | atlanta family photographer

I kinda don’t know how to begin this post. We owe this family so much. Really. The amount that they helped and did for us this Spring Training means more to me than I can ever put into words. It goes beyond that, I think the world of them and sooooo badly wished we lived right around the corner (or we could just move in with them…there’s plenty of room!!:)and what’s two more kids around the house???? really?)

We first met when she hired me to photograph her then, family of 5. I literally landed from a 4 hour flight and flew over to the park to meet them, barely had time to say “hi!” and we were doing the shoot. I’m sure they thought I was a little crazy but I instantly loved them. They are awesome, laid back parents and we just “clicked.”

Fast forward a couple years and a friendship, we got lucky and found ourselves right down the road from them for Spring! Thanks to our handy realtor (the guy below…lol) we got a place that was the best we’ve ever called home for a Spring Training rental. Plus, tons of playdates, dinners and all the things they did for us that were so giving. I strongly believe in the love that you give to others will come back even stronger than given. I can’t ever thank them enough for making our Spring fun and just for being themselves. Dallas and I think the world of them and their beautiful kids. They are just real. What you see is what you get, with them and for me, it’s an instant comfort and a deep friendship. I only wish we weren’t a world apart!!

P fam, I hope you love these pics. I miss you guys a ton but these pics made it worse! Reese couldn’t stop staring at them and talking about all the fun she had with ya’ll. God bless your beautiful family and here’s to the best season yet!!!! much love!!

You are too sweet. I had tears in my eyes reading your post and looking at my pictures. Now planning on where to put these in the house!!!

Jenn, you did an awesome job. I can’t even tell you which one I like best. I love them all. Although I’m a color picture gal, I especially love the one of the whole family eating their ice cream. I guess that’s the trick to get Ethan to smile. Wish there was someone around like you 30 years ago. There probably was, but I was too cheap/poor to find her/him. You’re hired!!!!!

What beautiful pictures and a wonderful and beautiful family!!! I too, want to thank you guys for all you did for Jenn and Dallas. I also think ice cream is the trick for Ethan but I do love the pictures of him not smiling they make me laugh, he is so cute. All of your children are precious. Thanks for your wonderful hospitality to me also when I visited, thanks again for everything.
