the birth of benaiah… | atlanta birth photographer

Been pretty much DYING to post this session. I just LOVE to shoot a birth and this one was extra special. Mom and Dad are these amazing parents and friends of mine. I just felt so much a part of the family during this day. I’ll stop chatting and let you watch the slideshow. I can’t believe how fast they went from a family of three to now a very, very blessed and even more beautiful family of four! Here they are this fall…

And now, oh, it’s hard to believe they could get any cuter or more blessed, but on January 24, Jesus guided baby Benaiah into this world and handed him to Blaine & Ginsey to love and adore for all time. It was so overwhelming, in the best way possible. I have been lucky enough to document three births. Summer, Boo and now Ginsey’s and all three, I swear, I will never forget one itty bitty second of that day. (I can already picture myself at Benaiah’s wedding being the old lady that he doesn’t know-one of “Mom’s friends” -rambling on telling him how cute his little cheeks were on the day he was born…) It was so amazing. Tears flow and although I’ve done it twice myself, there is something so heavenly about standing next to a mom, especially a woman of Faith and watching them give birth. Seeing him take his first breath. Watching the nurse clean his perfect little head. But most of all, witnessing the love in the room between Blaine and Ginsey. Knowing that they have another life to love and raise, a son that will look to them for all he needs in his Earthly life. ┬áBlaine and Ginsey, I will never be able to thank you enough for letting me take part in this special day. It will have a place in my heart forever (right next to how much I love counting y’all as friends!) and I only hope these images captured the feelings that accompanied that day. Much love.

I am trying to find your contact info on the site, but the site is not working properly. Can I have your email so I can ask you some questions about newborn and birth photos?

Thank you!
